Today may have been the last warm day of the year, so I took advantage to tinker on the Rallye for the last time this year.

The passenger front Vega has slowly but surely leaked since I relipped it. I decided to pull the Oz’s so I can deal with that.

Since I had the “real” wheels ready to go on, I decided to do a full test fit. I had these wheels rebuilt a few years back and absolutely screwed up the math on the rear wheels. I had fit them a few months back and the rears were almost an inch too wide. Doh!

A new pair of lips from Germany and another rebuild later, the rears are feeling just about as perfect as the fronts. Also, these are 16", which visually fill out the wheel wells just a bit better. I still have a bit of work to do designing replacement centercaps, then I gotta get @zealous_mfg but hope to get those sorted by spring.

Pics in order: rear view, top down view of the rear wheel/fender, top down of the front fender/wheel and a front view.

Next warm day task: replace the cooling system with all the awesome new stuff I scored from @autobahnautoworx ’s winter sale… Excited!
