Turns out that the center caps that came with the wheels I’m gonna run on green car were not the right ones. Instead they were slightly too large OZ caps shoved into the hole. They were all broken and didn’t hold at all.
3D printer to the rescue.
With the help of my friends Claude, OpenSCAD, some calipers and a LOT of trial and error, I now have caps that properly fit the wheels, yay!
Maybe I should try to make floating self leveling versions…
