For my birthday this year, I’m asking for donations to Chicago Friends School.

I went to Quaker school most of my life; it is a huge part of how I live, think and has a part of much of the good in my life. I wouldn’t have been able to without scholarships, grants, help from others and financial aid programs of the schools.

I’ve been involved in helping grow Chicago Friends School for several years, and love the education provided to my kids, the community and how we’re helping grow creative peacemakers.

So with that in mind, I’m trying to raise $100 for each year of my life, $3,900… but to make it easier, I’ve secured a dollar for dollar match for half of it! So, for each dollar you can give, it’ll bring two dollars to the school to help share access to this amazing education and community to more kids.

So, if you can give $39 - you’ll effectively be giving $78, or if you can spare $390 - you help bring $780 to teach kids peace.
